What Does Coffee and a Big Screw have in Common?

So just exactly what does a big screw have to do with coffee?

Well let me tell you!

Our Tree Houses will all have "Coffee Trees" attached!

Let me explain further!

In an attempt to make our tree house cabins as unique and memorable of an experience as possible, we've invented "Coffee Trees". Our coffee trees are simply a nearby tree situated close to the back deck of the cabins with a private deck built right into them. These decks will be actually in the tree and connected to the back deck of the tree house via a cable suspension bridge.

HOW COOL IS THAT!!!???

The idea is to have access to a private "in the tree" experience that feeds into our theme of tree houses and canopy walks. (Canopy walks you ask?) That will be another posting!

Meanwhile, we will begin construction of our first coffee deck tomorrow. John hasn't exactly volunteered for coffee deck duty, but I've already laid claim to test driving it so his job will be to build it! I have confidence he will get the job done. (Just look at the size of bolts he got for it!)

I'll make sure to shoot plenty of video of this part of the project so watch for it!

Back to reservations. All of our pre-construction nights are sold but we are offering all first time guests $20 off PER NIGHT. All you have to do is fill out the form to the right of this page and you will receive an email with a promotional code in it you can use to get your discount when you make your reservations.

A Video Update from Branson Tree House Adventures!

Here we are about 2-3 weeks away from completion of the Misty View Tree House. We have pretty much got the outside done. John is getting ready to build the coffee deck out back and I'm getting ready to start building cabinets.

It was about one year ago that we began thinking about building a tree house resort. Now we are almost done with our first cabin and excited to get the next one going.

We love it when we have visitors stop by and check out the progress. Building a tree house cabin is so unconventional. Part of the fun and adventure is that there are no typical design boundaries. This allows us to "make it up as we go". Any time we get a new idea, we don't have to decide "can we do that?" We only have to decide if we want to or not and if it will make the tree house experience more unique and memorable. Everyone should enjoy this kind of project!

If you want to receive a discounted special for your stay at our tree house, submit your name and email at the right and you will receive a message with a promotional code in it to use when you make your reservations!

The Tree House Project

We are getting SO CLOSE to having a functional Tree House Cabin! As of August 20, the exterior is about 98% complete and we have a good start on the interior.

Today we finally removed the scaffolding on the front deck so the "face" is now unobstructed!

We have ordered the whirlpool tub for 2 that will go in the side room. It will be here in a few days and all of the electrical and plumbing is done.

I suppose I should clarify one more time (because people keep asking if it will have a bathroom and running water) YES, hot and cold running water, bathroom, shower, jetted tub, flat screen TV, kitchen, heat and A/C..........Is there anything I'm missing? Oh yes, a deck out back that is over 20 feet above the ground and a coffee deck in a near-by tree connected by a cable bridge!

This Tree House Cabin will be very luxurious! We are give as much attention to detail as we can and still keep the construction dead-line intact!

Now For Some MORE Good News!

If you look to the right of this page, you will see a new form which gives you $20 off per night. It is SO SIMPLE!

Just submit your name and email address and you will instantly receive a message with a $20 off "Per Night" coupon! Good for ALL first time guests.

I plan to shoot a couple of new videos by this weekend and show off the progress in the interior.

See you in the Trees!

Tree House Milestone

We are now two weeks into August and we've reached a milestone. Namely, our first inspection. Which we passed with flying colors. It was the utilities rough-in inspection that now opens the door for starting the finish work on the inside.

While we have been busy getting it to this point on the inside (and under side), Shelley has been busy putting on the make-up in the form of color. We've chosen a darker "butternut" stain for the exterior walls with a lighter accent color on the front deck ceiling, cedar logs and deck rails. The color combination is awesome to look at, and, like every other part of this project....The pictures just don't do it justice!

We've opted to make this cabin a romantic, couples cabin with a jetted tub. It was about a 50/50 split for couples vs family cabin, but the couples won out as they are the ones who have been calling in and making reservations. Family cabin is up next!

REDUCED PRICE OFFER

Now, down to our "Reduced Price Offer". We have filled most of September and part of October with our Pre-Completion pricing. We offered a limited number of nights to be reserved at $100 that can be used any time (subject to availability) And those have nearly been used up. We've decided to accept only 10 MORE! If you want to reserve your cabin ad this low price, you must do it before 10 more nights are booked!

Call 417-338-2500 to make your reservation now!

ALSO.......Make sure you are on our mailing list by filling out the subscribe form to the right of this page.

Higher and Higher

Every time we go out to work at the tree house it seems we are modifying some kind of platform to get ourselves higher in the air. Today it was adding some ladders, scaffold platforms and other odds and ends makeshift methods for getting us up the back side of the tree house to finish the outside walls. The ladder you see in the first pic is already standing about 20 feet in the air on the back deck. The temporary platform John is on is higher, BUT, now we can reach the peak.

The second picture is one I took from the ground and it still does not give the perspective of height that is really there. You just have to come and see it!

This project has come a long way in the short time we've actually been working on it. I think we are up to 24 days now. Even though this is our business (or at least one of them) we have a great time doing the work. allowing ourselves to be creative with very few boundaries. (gravity being one of them) We get to meet people who are fascinated by what they see when we give them a mini-tour.

All in all, this is turning into a wonderful experience for us as well as others. You are all invited to stop by and see the progress, We will always take a few minutes to visit and share the vision. PLUS, as of today (August 6) we still have a few discounted pre-construction reservations available at $100. You must call soon if you want to get one. You can use them at any time in the future but there are only a limited number of nights available. When they're gone, the price will be the normal price of $189 per night. Call 417-338-2500 between 9am and 5pm to make your reservations.
